2. How do I print/color on the Marker & Crayon Transfer Sheets?

Place plain paper in your printer first, to make sure that you are happy with the results. Print your picture. When you like what you see, place one sheet of Marker & Crayon Transfer Sheet in your printer so that printing occurs on the plain, unmarked side of the transfer sheet. Set your printer at normal quality, plain paper setting. Do NOT reverse or “mirror image”. Print picture. Allow ink to dry 30 minutes. Use markers or crayons to color your picture right on the plain, unmarked side of the transfer sheet. You can combine images printed from your computer with your own drawings.

To keep printed image edges from tearing, gently separate the front sheet from the backing paper just past printed image, then replace layers. Using a scissors, trim out image to desired shape. Remember that any white areas that are not trimmed off will remain white on your t-shirt or project. Gently peel finished Marker & Crayon transfer image from backing paper.

4. How do I iron the Marker & Crayon Transfer Sheets?

Preheat iron to setting based on fabric you will be transferring onto. DO NOT USE STEAM. Empty any water in iron and allow to preheat for five minutes.
Place pillowcase on smooth, hard, heat resistant surface such as a wood cutting board. Do not use ironing board or padded surface. Iron pillowcase to remove wrinkles. Iron t-shirt or project to remove moisture and wrinkles.

Position printed transfer FACE UP on project surface. Cover COMPLETELY with parchment paper provided. Note: Parchment paper can be used for multiple transfer applications. If parchment is stained by marker or crayon, use baking parchment (available at grocery stores) for additional transfers.
If applying multiple images to a single project, it is recommended that you leave the parchment in place until all images are ironed to avoid damage of transfers by direct contact with a hot iron.

FOR 100% COTTON FABRIC
Heat iron to highest, cotton setting. Using firm pressure, slowly iron using consistent up and down and side-to-side motions on entire transfer for one minute. Make sure to iron all corners and edges. Allow parchment paper to cool for one to two minutes. Gently peel off parchment paper. Check to make sure transfer and all edges and corners are fully fused. Replace parchment and iron if additional time is needed. Note: Additional time may be needed for larger transfers or cooler irons as iron temperatures can vary greatly.
